 Notes from 1/03/12 Dartball Captains Meeting

 

 League dues of $30.00 paid to Neal.

 

Reminder to all Captains to remind players this is a FUN League

Player’s bad sportsmanship attitudes should not be tolerated

Players should be told not to grab darts by the feathers proper way of removing darts from board is by twisting them not pulling on the feathers the cost of darts is $25.00 a dozen we want to try to keep them in good shape for as long as possible.

 

A suggestion was made to start the nights games with a prayer should be considered by the home team either at the beginning of games or before 1st snack.

 

Everyone agrees the way the Handicaps were figured at start of this year worked very well.

 

The 11 man team rule was questioned why it was changed answer was to keep the game more like the original amount of players on a team but it was agreed if both Captains agree to allow more players it’s ok we do not follow State rules.

 

Luke no longer team captain of Gethsemane Team #2 Tom Spohn will be acting Captain till we hear further. We do need to know who to contact in case of inclement weather.

 

Tournament 2012:

 

Will be held at Christ Big Bend Saturday March 24th at 10:00

We will be playing round robin same as last year

There will be one set of darts at each board and they will stay at that table throughout the tournament instead of each captain carrying their set of darts with them to each game.

Each player gets 5 practice darts before tournament begins

Each game will each be 7 innings

Meeting after the 4th game – Brian to announce trophy and certificate winners but will hand them out during the games

Whitnal (1) Board (1) Set of darts (1) light

St. Luke’s (1) Board (1) Set of darts (1) light

Hales Corners (1) Board (1) Set of darts (1) light

Gethsemane (1) Board (1) Set of darts (1) light

Please drop them off Friday during the day or by 9:00am Saturday.
